The local club you might see me at is the Vero Beach Amateur Radio Club, VBARC in Indian River County, Florida. The club call is W4OT. I can only say this has to be one of the best clubs around. There is so many friendly people in this club that just want to share their knowledge on their radios and antennas. I will also add that this club has an impressive emergency communications deployment that becomes available when all else fails during natural disasters as well as public service events for the city or county. When all else fails, ham radio prevails. We have the means to communicate across the county or across the globe, analog or digital, voice or morse code and even send emails over radio waves using Winlink or similar means. Find them on Facebook and on the web to stay up to date to what they have planned in the area.
